AGE: This orchard was planted in the spring of 2016.
WATER: The orchard is irrigated by a new well that is powered by a 50 H.P. electric motor which produces approximately 750 GPM. The electric motor is run by a generator for the time being until PG&E is hooked up. The trees are irrigated via micro jet sprinklers throughout the ranch.
VARIETIES/SPACING: The newly planted orchard is on 15’x22’ spacing, and the varieties of the orchard are as follows:
- 50% - Non-Pareil
- 25% - Carmel
- 25% - Wood colony
SOILS: The soils are predominately Yolo silty clay which is classified as a grade 2 soil.
